That would be cute; if it were just tumblr, but it isn’t nor is it just tumblr that thinks his behavior is appalling.

Stop Beck started on Wordpress and twitter by ONE person. Eventually, gained support and pressured all of Glenn Becks advertisers to pull their spots from his show. Resulting in reducing Beck to an internet show.

Rush Limbaugh is currently facing similar actions.

So, what exactly makes you think that this is only a “goofy attempted Tumblr internet mobbing”?

Perhaps because selling this point is the easiest way to get people to give up?
